Come Join the Tradition!

For Camp Alumni, coming to camp feels like coming home. Many speak of the impact YMCA Camp Classen has had on them and how relationships made here have lasted for life. The tradition started just outside Davis, Oklahoma back in 1941, and continues today as campers return each summer and say “It’s my camp”
Under the guidance of carefully selected camp staff, you will find yourself in the heart of the Arbuckle Mountains in Southern Oklahoma, surrounded by 2400 acres of natural beauty, waterfalls, lakes, forests, open meadows, and miles of hiking and horseback trails. You will enjoy an amazing waterfront area, the Meade Activity Center, and the Eberly Nature Center, Lake Classen, Lake Guy James, Vesper Mt, Classen Falls, 3 Falls, Horseback riding at Colling’s Ranch, and the outdoor peaceful Norman R McCleod Chapel.

YMCA Camp Classen offers Christian co-ed residential summer camp experiences to campers, from not only Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas, but to campers from across the country and the world!

Main Camp offers kids 8 to 12 years old awesome week long sessions that can be linked to stay as many weeks as they want. Main Camp summer campers not only get a taste for range of activities, they also choose an elective each week they would like to specialize in. Regardless, each camper will make new friends, try out new experience and have the opportunity to go on a horseback ride (some campers may choose to specialize in horses and have a whole lot of time riding and learning equestrian theory)

Teen Programs at Camp Classen range with teen interest. We offer a Traditional Camp centered on camp and local trips, a Frontier Adventure focusing on horseback trail and arena riding and Equestrian theory, and an Adventure Trips leaving camp and Oklahoma for Colorado and rivers in Arkansas and Missouri.
