YMCA Camp Classen is excited to offer a Christian-based outdoor educational expereince for Home Schoolers March 29-31, 2010 on our camp in Davis, Oklahoma. This retreat's focus is for 3rd - 7th graders

For Who: 3rd-7th grader home school students and Parent / Guardian
Cost: $82.50 /person. (includes meals, programming, accomidations, and horseback riding)
$100 deposit required per cabin group. Fees due before arrival date
| Tentative Schedule: Monday 9-10:30 am Arrive and more into cabins 10:30 Orientation Hike 11:00 Group icebreakers and get to know-"yas" 11:45 Lunch in our dining hall 12:45 Outdoor education elective choices 3:30 Recreational and community building elective choices 5:45 Dinner 6:45 Games on the field (students) round tables (parents) 8:15 Night hikes to telescope at Nature center 10:00 Lights out Tuesday 8:00 Breakfast 9:00 Outdoor education elective choices 12:00 Lunch 1:00 Shorter outdoor educational electives 2:45 Recreational and community building electives 5:00 Chapel on Vesper Mountain 6:30 Dinner 7:30 Square Dance 8:45 Campfire and smores 10:00 lights out Wednesday Pack up early 8:00 Breakfast 9:00 Outdoor education elective choices 12:00 Sack lunches (prepared by camp) 1:00 disperse or self guided hikes | Electives Outdoor Educational Electives (2.5 to 3hrs blocks) Warren Mountain Hike - biomes, ecotones, and camp's most famous hike Lick Creek Fossil Trail - Geology and fossils collection (lessons will be taught without reference to dating theories). Lake Classen Trail - covering numous natural cycles and lake science  Outdoor Educational Electives (shorter) Instincts for survival (predator / prey fun activity) Skull detectives and track making Recreational / Community Building options Teambuilding Climbing tower Giant swing aka "the Screamer!"
