<- back to Teen base

89er Traditional Campers believe that summer camp is rooted in friendship.  They come, either for their 1st time or their 8th time to make new friends, rekindle friendships from past summers and just enjoy the company of other teens.  They realize that there is more to who they are than just what other students in their school know them to be.

Our Formula:  Start out with some awesome activities that teens have always loved such as: kayaking, climbing tower, the Screamer!, horseback riding, paintball, skeet shooting, mountainbiking, fun all over the lake, off camp adventure outings, and chapel on Vesper Mountain. Then use those experiences as a building block to jumpstart new friendships.

Activities for the 89er teens are more flexible to individual interests that the younger main camp.  Teens have more responsibility, choice and freedom to pursue activities unique to them.
