2. Is firewood available or can we cut firewood at camp?
We do not allow gathering of firewood at camp or cutting any trees dead or alive. To order firewood call 580-465-1693(Eddie).
3. What is the capacity of camp?
Main Camp sleeps 342 people and requires a 200 person minimum for exclusive use. 89er Village sleeps 224 people and requires a 100 person minimum for exclusive use.
4. Do you allow tent camping?
We only allow tent camping for groups that do only tent camping. (example: boy scouts, youth groups, equestrian groups) We do not allow tent in the cabin areas.
5. Do I need to bring bedding?
Yes. The Packing List for Family Camp might also be helpful.
6. Do you have RV hook ups?
No. There are other places locally that do.
7. How does food service work?
Our food service is provided by Haliburton Food Solutions. We can serve meals either buffet style or family style. We do not allow groups use of our kitchen. We do offer fire pits or fire rings in the cabin area for outdoor cooking. 89er Village also has charcoal grills available.
8. Are the cabins heated and air-conditioned.
All of our cabins are heated. The cabins in Main Camp are all air-conditioned and so is the dining hall at main Camp.
9. Can I bring pets to camp?
No.
10. How is the fishing?
We have excellent fishing in our two private lakes. Bait can be purchased locally?
11. We are arriving on Friday night. Where can we eat?
There are several restaurants in Davis, OK. We like many of the restaurants but Smokin' Joes is great BBQ and a unique setting! Don't forget a Fried Pie on the way home.
12. What else is in the area that we can see?
