YMCA Camp Classen has been blessed with a beautiful natural setting, located in the Arbuckle Mountains of Southern Oklahoma. Camp Classen offers the finest residential camp facilities in the state of Oklahoma. Groups from Oklahoma and Texas frequently visit Camp Classen. Most are repeat campers. Some of these same groups have used Camp Classen for decades! Campers are surrounded by 2400 acres of forest, open meadows, lakes, ponds, streams, waterfalls and a wide variety of protected wildlife.
Camp Classen offers a total of 342 beds all with air-conditioned comfort.
As you pull into Main Camp you will be in awe of the historic Griffith Logde with its incredible view of Lake Classen. Main Camp also boasts the massive Meade Activity Center with meeting space, sleeping space and an open-air pavilion perfect for evening programs or rainy-day activities and the Eberly Nature Center with a classroom and auditorium. There are basketball and volleyball courts, activity fields, archery and riflery ranges, an air-conditioned dining hall, a camp infirmary, and hiking trails. Other favorite Main Camp places include the beautiful Norman R. MacLeod Outdoor Chapel, Vesper Mountain, and Classen Falls.
The unique Collings 101 Ranch is the perfect place to see the mountain scenery and wildlife onhorseback. There are two seperate shower houses and several tent platforms that would make the perfect place for a group tent camping outing. You can get an incredible sense of history while traveling on miles of riding trails.
Nestled deep in the hardwood forest is 89er Village. The gorgeous Three Falls and Lake Guy James, shooting ranges, 50' climbing tower and giant swing and activity areas make it a popular location.
