Putting "Christian principles into practice" , "growing.Spirit.Mind.Body.for life", "it's my camp", these are not just words in a mission statement, slogans and mottos. We intend to live them out. We believe part of God''s plan for camp is for participants to find rest here and for them to have significant experiences. Camp gets in your blood but it can be a challenging place to work because it often requires putting others needs before our own. Before you go any further ask yourself a few questions: Am I ready to take care of other people's children or serve families? If a camper's mom saw everything about me online would I be ok with that? Would I be willing to submit to the YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City's appearance guidelines? You can expect to grow and you can expect to have a place that will be special to you for life.
